Pyramid Pyro gets a facelift

So we've kicked off the new year with a whole new look for the site as well as a few new features. First, a new Joomla template was applied and configured giving the site a new feel. As a result, the left and right columns were pretty much stripped out allowing for a cleaner content look in the body area. There were also some basic content management improvements regarding modules and CSS, so even though content didn't change drastically, the existing content was updated and future content will be easier to configure. One of the bigger features is the reimplementation of the shopping cart software.

Previously, the site's shopping cart software was used in a "catalog" mode to help promote various services, but with no checkout or payment options. That's changed as the shopping cart software was updated and actual "products" are now being offered. Customers can pay for videography and outdoor movie screen rental services online which provides yet another convenient payment method. We'll also be rolling out a line of tangible products starting with a test venture into the realm of Ventura County roller derby bouts.

New backyard theater articles and sample videos will be forthcoming as will the potential for sample wedding videos. 2011 marks a new prosperous year for Pyramid Pyro and this new site design is just the fresh look we need to kick things off.
