With Content And Basic SEO Applications Complete, Pyramid Pyro Is Officially LIVE

It took about two months, but things are finally up and running. Now let's see if this baby can generate some interest...

The last month was spent fleshing out the site with content and a few fun components to get everything "launchable." The categories that received all the attention were Videography and Backyard Theater. Going forward, most new content will be focused there rather than trying to add all new sections. I hope to have some more new eyes come in to look and offer some tips or catch some bugs.

The SEO work was done based on general terms revolving around videography and backyard theater. Now all I can do is wait patiently while Google and the other search engines crawl the site and cast their judgment. Here's to hoping they are kind. I don't expect much right away or over the short term. The next step will be more heavily focused on locally optimizing new content.

As far as promotion, that will come slowly over time as well. A paid search plan is in the works, as well as social networking signups, and good ol' word-of-mouth. Press releases may not quite be appropriate after an initial posting, but we'll see what we can do in terms of getting some good content out there to announce the site and promote the name.
